My Journey.
Before I embarked on a journey of radical self-acceptance to transform my life, I had to first admit to myself that my very own personal needs were going unmet.
The pain of any new beginning is that we cannot see the path ahead.
At the beginning, I did not know what I needed to transform myself into the person who would grow a six-figure, sustainable, soul-led business. All I knew was that pursuing a soul-led path in life was non-negotiable.
I wanted to create a meaningful shift in the work I was doing with clients full time. I wanted to ditch the hustle, heal from burnout, and move in an entirely new direction. I wanted to feel that my outer world (work, relationships, and a sense of spiritual purpose) were in alignment and in integrity with my values and essential creative energy.
I am a deep seeker. I value soul-based work. I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur who has studied various spiritual traditions and trained with many different teachers.
Yet, even when I was doing the work I loved to do, working seven days a week, and still not able to pay the bills, I had no idea of what was going to change that endless cycle of not enough. Not enough time. Not enough energy. Not enough money. Not enough support.
I had no idea who could help me and how I would ever bring all of the varying aspects of my work together in a cohesive and powerful way, so that I could THRIVE.
I wanted to build something real, sustainable and that would help me evolve my body of work over time.
Despite years of doing it all on my own, I hit a low point and burned out completely. There was no more room for error.
The reality was the pressure was far too great to figure it out all on my own. I could no longer continue with the way things were going. The biggest question for me was: “What would bring me to the other side of the challenges I faced?”
I had to take a step back, look deep within myself, and recognize I needed support. I had to make myself a priority and begin working in an entirely new way.
Awakening to the need for change on a personal level came through the dismantling of dysfunctional structures in my life and work. It was both a terrifying time and a liberating one.
